This is one of the most important questions: as, statistically, 10% of all customer addresses contain an error, delivery problems can occur here!
Please be sure to check:
1.) DHL is replacing the classic paper notification card with a digital parcel announcement.
You will NO longer receive a printed notification card, but a delivery notification by email or the DHL app.
All of this goes to the email address registered with us. It is therefore essential to check it regularly.
2.) Subsequent preferred-day or preferred-location delivery?
Our experience is that this delays delivery by one to two working days.
In some cases delivery errors even occur here that delay delivery by a further 2 working days.
3.) Please make sure that the doorbell / letterbox is labelled with the surname from the delivery address you provided.
Every week we have several shipments that cannot be delivered due to incorrect labelling. (marriage, flatmate, company name...)
DHL / the postal service is OBLIGED to deliver only to correct addresses.
4.) Please enter a house number.
5.) In small eastern German municipalities, mismatched postcodes and town names occur very often. Here it helps to check your own address via our built-in Google address verification. Or simply check directly on Google Maps.
