Outer corners: Some customers have bent the material around outer corners. However, this can quickly look untidy or visually unappealing.

Inner corners: For inner corners, some customers have had good experiences bending the kitchen backsplash around the corner without cutting the edges.

We recommend vertically cutting through the material once at the corners and then applying it flush.
If desired, the joint edge can be fitted with a corner profile (available at hardware stores) or filled with some acid-free silicone.

It is best to order a continuous design and then separate it at the corners.
This results in a more beautiful final outcome.

The kitchen backsplash can best be cleaned with water, some dish soap, and a sponge cloth.

PRO suitable for: fine plaster, fine filler, gypsum board, smooth glass fleece, painted wall, lacquered surface, tiles, glass, Alu-Dibond, plexiglass, MDF board

PREMIUM suitable for: everything from PRO + woodchip wallpaper, + OSB board, + raw wood, + standard plaster

Not suitable for: spray plaster, elephant skin, latex paint, sealing coatings, loose substrate, chalking paint, substrates with lotus or nano-sealing.

We would cut out the sockets precisely and neatly with a cutter or, if available, even more easily with a hole saw.

The installation is straightforward even without prior knowledge, making it ideal for DIY enthusiasts. To simplify the process, we have provided many video tutorials. The time required for installation mainly depends on the number of sockets, corners, and necessary cuts.

Compared to many other materials for kitchen backsplashes, our self-adhesive version is particularly easy to install. An additional advantage is that it can be realigned during processing (PRO version).

For backsplashes wider than 2 meters, we recommend carrying out the installation with two people. This way, one person can hold one side of the backsplash while the other person aligns and adheres the material.

The product can be used on the cooking surface (electric, ceramic, induction).

The distance from the cooktop to the rear wall must be professionally executed:
Usually, the distance is 50mm. This is the safety distance prescribed by the manufacturer.

For gas stoves, the product is generally not suitable because the heat radiation is too high. Some customers then install or place a glass pane in front of it.

The PRO version can be removed at any time without leaving any residue, but it cannot always be sufficiently fixed on some difficult surfaces such as textured wallpaper. It is perfectly suitable for tiles, for example.

The PREMIUM version, on the other hand, has been deliberately equipped with a higher adhesive strength to hold long-term on every surface.

To remove the PREMIUM kitchen backsplash, simply pull it off again.

There are various alternatives to the classic tile backsplash. Which solution fits best mainly depends on the budget, the desired look, and the living situation.
Self-adhesive kitchen backsplashes are usually among the most affordable and simplest options. It is important to pay attention to a good provider and to thoroughly inform oneself about material, adhesive strength, and processing before purchasing. Another option is aluminum composite panels or glass panels. They appear very high-quality and are robust, but often need to be drilled or elaborately mounted, which can be particularly problematic for renters.
Other alternatives include washable wall paint, acrylic or PVC panels, stainless steel backsplashes, or waterproof wallpapers. Depending on the material, these solutions vary significantly in price, maintenance effort, and durability.

Self-adhesive backing films can be applied easily and without tools. Additionally, they can be removed without leaving any residue, making them perfect for rental apartments.
