This is one of the most important questions: Because statistically 10% of all customer addresses have an error, this can lead to delivery problems!
Please check:
1.) DHL is replacing the classic paper notification card with a digital package announcement.
You are NOT getting a printed notification card anymore, but a delivery notification via email or DHL app.
All of this will go to your registered email address. It is therefore absolutely necessary to check them regularly.
2.) Subsequent desired day or destination delivery?
We have found that this delays delivery by one to two working days.
Sometimes there are even delivery errors that delay the delivery by another 2 working days.
3.) Please make sure that the bell sign / letterbox is labeled with the last name from the given delivery address. < br/> We have several shipments per week that can not be delivered due to incorrect labeling. (Marriage, roommate, company name ...)
DHL / Mailoffice is obligated to deliver only to correct addresses. P>
4.) Please enter a house number.
5.) In small East German communities, there are often unsuitable postcodes and city names. Here it helps to check your own address via our built-in Google address verification. Or just check directly on Google Maps.
