Elephant Skin & Latex Paint

Latex paint is a critical surface with regard to the bonding of any adhesive product. Normally, our kitchen splashback from the PREMIUM series adheres on Latex paint.
But we've also had the case that it didn't adhere to latex paint.

The following note about the so-called "elephant skin" (wallpaper protection): Unfortunately, nothing sticks to this - this is the desired effect of such a paint.

Our tip: You could simply roughen the surface a little bit with 100 grit sandpaper, or strip the "elephant skin" paint. It would be possible to peel off so-called "peelable wallpaper", where the paper backing remains on the wall after the wallpaper protection layer has been peeled off. Test it out on a small spot!
